my son & I were just thinking the same thing, who auditions these women & says "yeah, she will be great"? The one on the Fresno / Cin game makes me wish I was deaf.

After viewing portions of many games this fine opening weekend for college football, I could not help but notice and be annoyed by something that probably shouldn't bother me but it did & it does.

For the love of all that is Holy, leave men one last refuge where we can escape for a few hours from the endless & pointless yacking of women, endured daily by men...FOOTBALL!  For crying out loud, you have your fingers & mouths in everything else, PLEASE, leave football alone!

Ok, call me sexist...

Season opener record attendence of 82,200+
48-7 Win
539 yards of offense
Defense only allowed 266
Defense forced 2 turnovers
3 penalties for 12 yards for A&M
good time of possession
1 missed FG, but that's one of only a few bad parts of the game.

Overall, a very good opening game for the Ags.  Gig'em and btho la tech!!!!!

Kickoff this evening.  Ags should dominate in every phase of the game.  Looking forward to seeing how well the Ags play tonight.  Gig'em!

QB from Kerrville will be at tomorrow's game. Threw for over 500 yards tonight as Kerrville Tivy beat 5A Madison tonight. Madison was the #1 ranked team in the San Antonio area. Here's hoping we get a commit from him soon. What a phenomenal athlete and playmaker.

Tannehill has one more year (after 2010) and Dorman has 2-3 years.  A&M could use a high profile QB.  Next year might get a little scary at QB unless the backups get some reps this year!  It's gameday guys, Gig'em Aggies!

With a higher overall ranking, more passing yds & td's last season than Heisman candidates Colt McCoy & Tim Tebow I would hardly call JJ less than a contender.  Yes the team needs to win to help him, but it is indeed an award for individual achievement and he is worthy of discussion.  Most of what he accomplished was either while running for his life or on his way to the ground thanks to our O-line.  A large % of his passes are dropped which doesn't help.  Also, the Aggies were about 3 rediculous missed tackles away from winning 3 more games last season.  The Defense was by-far the weakest link last season & at fault for some heartbreaking losses due to lack of fundamentals (ie. tackling!).  If anyone thinks the tu game was his ONLY good game last year, I don't know where you were.  Ask tt, for instance, they may help you remember.  So aside from the Aggies as a team needing to win, JJ is a QB who's individual achievement is worthy of discussion...Hey, we're discussing him now ;-)
